Adam Sandefur

As the Chief Financial Officer of REX, Adam oversees many teams within the organization including accounting, human resources, technology, legal and risk management, and facilities. Adam works together with the executive leadership team on strategic acquisitions as well as the business and financial operations of all REX.one companies. Adam’s driving goals are to build and maintain relationships with key business partners, ranging from credit and debt structure to insurance and risk transfer.

Prior to joining the REX team, Adam served as Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting & Finance, and several other executive leadership roles at different companies. With his knowledge and expertise in finance, his work-related achievements include leading a rapid growth phase resulting in three times revenue and two times office locations, including all office, support, and technology setup.  He also implemented a company-wide ERP for project management, accounting, and HR over 16-month period.

Adam is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) for both the national organization and the Chicago chapter. He is also a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). He is actively involved with charitable organizations and serves as Treasurer for CRASH, a nonprofit organization in the Chicagoland area.

Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Northwestern University. He moved to Chicago for pursuing his education, married, and made Chicagoland his home. He is an avid sports fan, cheering for all Chicago teams. Basketball, tennis, and golf are his all-time favorite sports and continues to complete in them all. Being an ardent follower of Star Wars from an early age, Adam is immersed in all of the new content.
